All of us humbly thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you. It blesses our lives in countless ways to serve
the class in these areas of ministry. All of us have a heart for God and this young marrieds ministry. We take this
opportunity to heart and are so thrilled to be a small part of what God is doing in the lives and marriages in Threshold.

Roy and Christy Hamblin.
Leaders - Vision Team
We have been married for almost 10 years (as of May 2008). It seriously has been the best 10 years of our
lives (it gets better & better)! We have two amazing children, Avery & Tanner. In October of 2007 God
opened the doors for us to continue the ministry of Threshold. This was a natural transition for us as God
started planting a passion in our hearts, to serve young married couples, about 8 years ago. Together we
desire to serve God and it has been an absolute honor for us to be a part of God's ministry, Threshold!
This community of people is our extended family and we love you dearly! Our desire is to pursue Christ
together with you, as we enter into His presence and discover His perfect plan, destiny and dreams for our
marriages. Fun times await us!

Brad and Alicia Alford.
Missions
Thanks for coming to Threshold. We hope you felt connected and loved and can't wait to call you old friends.
We know God has much in store for you and your marriage. Our names are Brad and Alicia Alford. We live in
Folsom and share our house with four wonderful children Jackson 6, Rilee 5, Paislee 2, and Bentlee 2 months.
God has been so good to us and allowed us to be involved with Threshold from the beginning. Currently we are
on the leadership team, on the table leaders team, and oversee the missions team. We look forward to getting
to know you and growing our marriages together.

Malcolm and Shellie Kennedy.
Marketing
We have been married nearly 4 years and we have such an amazing passion for Threshold. Malcolm is a
firefighter and me (Shellie) I have a photography company. There will be 5 of us soon. Our newest member of
Team Kennedy will be born in May. Our first born is very hairy and barks a lot and I have a cat from a previous
relationship. Together, we couldn't be more happy. We love life and adventure and each other. We kayak, and
go camping most of the year. We over see the marketing division which gets the information about Threshold
to the public, including the making and maintaining of this web site. We love Threshold so much that is was a
natural job to take as we love talking about it and inviting everyone to join us. If you are thinking of visiting us

Jodi and Jared Kerstiens.
Co-Lead Vision Team
Welcome to Threshold!!! We are Jared and Jodi Kerstiens and we have been married for just under two years.
While we don't have any kids yet, we do have a lovable, licking machine - Maggie, a 3 year old puggle. Threshold
has had such a positive impact on our lives and our marriage and we know it can do the same for you. It is more
than a Sunday School class - it's home! God has given us such a passion for encouraging and serving young
marrieds to reach their full potential as individuals and as couples. God has great plans for your marriage! We are
on the Vision Team with the Hamblins and the Galovichs. We assist Roy and Christy with the overall vision of
Threshold. We also oversee the leaders of the marketing team and the fellowship team. Come check Threshold

Ed and Nicola Fertuna.
Fellowship
Welcome to Threshold! We are so glad that you have decided to check out Threshold and can't wait to meet
you. Threshold is an amazing place to get to know new people and grow in Christ. We are Ed and Nicola Fertuna
and we have been married for just 1 year. We live in Elk Grove and have no children. We enjoy camping, being
with family, and Giants games. Threshold has played such a crucial role in the sucess of our marriage and we
feel so blessed to be able to serve! Currently we are the leaders of the fellowship team. The fellowship team is
responsible for planning all the social events that Threshold has. We love to meet new people and look forward
to getting to know you!
